We manufacture our seamed acrylic cylinders by drape forming a flat sheet in our specially made cylinder molds.
The seam is then bonded with high quality bonding agents, and polished for minimal exposure.
Depending upon the size, some bonded cylinders are made with one vertical bond joint, while larger plastic cylinders often require two or more bond joints.
The thickness of the cylinder will depend greatly upon how it is being used.

Whereas many other aquarium manufacturers use commercial adhesives for bonding, we have developed our own adhesive that creates a bond that is far stronger and clearer than other products. Our finished bonded product has a tensile strength of 9,000 pounds per square inch (PSI), which is much stronger than most commercial adhesives with tensile strengths of between 2,000 and 4,000 PSI. Our proprietary bonding technology produces bond that is almost invisible, providing a seamless viewing experience.
